Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

If you haven’t noticed, ever since I can remember writing for PRIMO! magazine, I have hardly, if ever covered threads that have made their way straight from the runways of Milan because realistically, most of the gear just doesn’t make my head turn. It is cool and all, but it really just isn’t for me. I think it has something to do with the crowd that is associated with it, who knows?
This train of thought however has changed. Thom Browne designed Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring/Summer 2012 Collection is somewhat ok.
With a sports theme that has been splashed with a heavy dose of European styling, the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection takes heavy influence from fencing, (that super-dope sport that people have swords and try and stab each other in), and it reflects this in many of the looks, cuts and details. Just check that fencing ensemble with the red, white, and blue feature. Insane.
The outerwear is the main point of focus, and quite possibly the most interesting part of the collection. Take a look at the photos below and judge for yourselves. I think I am now a fan of their work, though I doubt I will ever see bros walking around in clubs dressed as fencers. That shit would just be creepy.
