Kidrobot x Staple Design – Staple Tyre Pigeon

Kidrobot is back with an absolutely awesome collaboration with Staple Designs. Limited to only 800 pieces, the Staple Designs/Kidrobot collab, takes a re-imagined look at a pigeon. Doesn’t sound like much, but when the same pigeon was placed on a pair of Nike SB’s back in 2005, people went absolutely crazy trying to get their hands on a pair. Things actually got so bad, that if you were lucky enough to get a pair, they escorted you out the back, and drove you home in fear of theft or death by stealing-pigeon-shoes. True story, guys.
Even though I highly doubt this figurine will cop the same amount of hysteria, the toy will be available at Kidrobot NY as of the 3rd of November, with the LA based Kidrobot store getting it on the 4th. Rumor has it, that Jeff Staples will be on hand at both releases, so if you are in the states at around this time, make sure you get down there.
