Flavours of Lee

It’s too bad Dorothy and that scrappy little hound Toto weren’t lamenting their monochrome existences a little closer to Summer 2011, because last night Lee and Glue store took Sydney over the rainbow, and there wasn’t a hurricane or a bad witch in sight.
To celebrate the launch of the Flavours of Lee SS11/12 collection, Lee invited some of Sydney’s most vivid partiers to Good God Small Club in the CBD for a night of swirling disco lights, sugary bass lines, and lolly bags cute enough to… well… eat. The bar flowed with high-fructose cocktails, which brought delight not only because of the nostalgic sugar rush that made us feel like we were at the tenth birthday party of the coolest kid in school, but also because they turned our tongues blue, and what is more fun than that?
Lee’s summer collection features eye-popping colour-blocked denim and super cute raglan tees, and every purchase is accompanied by a scratch-and-sniff sticker that brings flavour to the fashion. The colour palette and the basic designs are bright, simple and cool – everything we think summer should be.
Thanks to Lee, Glue and Vice Magazine on behalf of PRIMO! for putting on a delicious gig. We think its time to leave your stormy winter wears at home and get down to your nearest Lee stockist because, Toto, it seems we’re not in Kansas anymore.
