SUPREME X THE NORTH FACE: WINTER 2011
Posted on November 23, 2011 by OneEightKevin
Here are two words that are will make most streetwear kids wet their tapered burgundy chinos in excitement: Leopard print.
Combine this with a new Supreme and the North Face collaboration, and you know some real shit is about to go down. The two brands have produced three colourways of the Nuptse Down Jacket and Rolling Thunder Bag. All three colourways feature leopard print and are going to need plenty of confidence to be pulled off.
Along with camo and aztec, leopard print is one of the more favoured patterns for streetwear enthusiasts. Gourmet, A.T.G, Nike and Supreme themsleves have absolutely killed it with this animal print in the past.
Here Supreme and the North Face offer the water-resistant Nuptse Down Jacket that is ideal for colder weather, while the matching Rolling Thunder Bag will make you the flyest guy at the airport.
As this collaboration features the North Face, you can count on these items being durable as well as flashy. I would list all of the more technical aspects of these two products, but I really doubt anybody cares. Like pretty much everything with a Supreme logo slapped on it, this is undoubtedly going to sell out real quick regardless.
Have your credit card ready and prepare for a massive shtifight when these items drop online on November 25th. My advice is to cop four of every item, and then re-sell them to over-enthusiastic hipsters on eBay at a ridiculously inflated price. But make sure you keep a jacket for yourself so you can wear it to the Odd Future show next year and grab some extra scene points.
