ToweringInferno’s Christmas Wish List
Posted on December 6, 2011 by jellybean
I’ve been really good this year.
Before any family members or friends happen to read this and start freaking out, I must stress that I am aware that many of the items on my wish list are completely unrealistic and probably several hundred (or in some cases, thousands) dollars over the average person’s Christmas gift budget. However, if you happen to acquire an obscene amount of money and decide to generously share your fortune by purchasing a gift off my wish list for me, I won’t say no, that would just be rude. Otherwise I’ll be happy with a pair of socks – especially if they’re Christmas themed.
FieldCandy Don’t Be A Leopard tent
I’ve got a big summer of festivals ahead of me and although my $20 Kmart tent will probably do the job, it’s got nothing on a leopard print tent. FieldCandy designs are limited edition so I’d no longer have to live in fear that someone else is going to turn up at a festival with the same tent as me, how embarrassing is it when that happens? It’s only $765.72 more expensive than my Kmart purchase (bargain!) and there are only 173 left, get in there!
The iPhone 4S
I’m still not part of the iPhone club and it kills me. Yesterday it took me an hour and a half to find an address because my poor old Nokia can’t even handle Google maps without having a fit. I already have a list of apps just waiting to be downloaded so that they can proceed to consume my entire life.
Polaroid 300 Instant Camera
I’m way too impatient for digital cameras. The whole ordeal of finding the cord, plugging it into the computer, and waiting a few gruelling minutes for the photos to upload is just far too painful for me. I want my happy snaps at my fingertips in a timely fashion, thank you.
Becca Moon Cody Boots in Dark Brown
My favourite brown boots are falling apart. We’ve spent a few happy years together but they’re finally giving up on me, perhaps something to do with the fact that I wore them bushwalking in the Grampians because I refused to wear my ugly running shoes. But I’m sure the 3 or 4 other bushwalkers we passed the entire time we were there were impressed by my getup. However, I’ve learnt my lesson, and if anyone decides to present me with the Becca Moon Cody Boots I promise I will never take them up Mount Difficult.
Urbanears Plattan Headphones
My headphones broke about two months ago and since then I’ve made a promise to myself that I won’t buy my next pair from the electronics section in Coles. Well, so far I’ve kept that promise but I remain headphoneless. My next headphones, I’ve decided, are going to be an incredibly cool over-ear design that will cost more than $9.95. I probably should consider the sound quality too, but look how pretty they are! They even come with a “zound plug” which allows a friend to plug in and listen to your music. Now all I need is a friend.
Romance Was Born’s entire S/S collection
Oh, Romance Was Born, I love you. The day I can afford your designs I know I’ll have made it in life. In the meantime, anyone want to buy me their entire Spring/Summer collection? I’ll never ask for anything else, ever. Apart from the other 5 items on my wish list.
Return flights to London
Okay, I lied, one more thing. If anyone buys me return tickets to London we can disregard everything else on this list – yes, even the Romance Was Born collection.
