Tiger & Cow Labbit by Frank Kozik

For the most part of the last 8 years of my life, I have been a huge fan of the work of Kidrobot.

For those of you that don’t know, Kidrobot is a producer and retailer of designer toys that has been around since 2002 by Paul Budnitz. The company generally specializes in artist-created toys and imports from Japan, Hong Kong, and Europe. In saying this, this is where my love for the company began, as their other specialty is limited edition collector items. Each of the three retail stores that they have feature a gallery of designer toys and related art that are often signed by the host artist to commemorate the release of their limited-edition figures, such as the Bondage Labbit by Frank Kozik.

This leads to Kidrobot’s new release. Frank Kozik is now back with the Labbit character, with these two plush toys. Featuring a tiger, and cow pattern design, the have been appropriately dubbed ‘Tiger Labbit, and Cow Labbit’. Both of these come in two sizes, and are now available from Kidrobot.

Personally, I am not a fan of their plush toys, but hey, I am guessing chicks will be frothing. Alternatively, if they end up releasing these in a vinyl version, I wlll be all over it, quicker than LeBron James leaving a forth quarter.
