"For those not familiar with Made Above, we are a Seattle, Washington-based clothing company founded in 2011. With music as our muse and gallery artwork as our aesthetic inspiration, we develop clever, bold and meaningful concepts while maintaining a clean and simple look. In each design, we hope to embody the driven lifestyles of different individuals - whether it's a hustler's motivation to make money or a revolutionary fellow's desire to change the world for the better. Although we see one interpretation of our designs, we hope our designs are conceptual enough so that the audience can further develop their own interpretations. This is why we describe our collection as "a projection of lifestyles."
Piece by piece, we have slowly begun releasing items from our Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which we have casually dubbed the 'Jook Baux collection' due to the strong influence of music in the majority of our designs this season.
