Highlights from the qualifying rounds of this years Tampa pro skateboarding competition.

Over the weekend the annual skate park of Tampa competition kicked off. Now in its 18th year, the comps have showcased some of the best skateboarders on the planet, as well as those up and comers ripping in the amature heats trying to make their mark in such a competitive industry.

Transworld have put together an edit of the highlights from the qualifying rounds that recently took place. Chaz Ortiz took the top spot showing yet again he is a force to be reckoned with in competition skateboarding. This dudes runs are almost always flawless and I find it a real pleasure to watch him do his thing. Both him and Torey Pudwell who scored dangerously close will go straight to the final while another 75 skaters including Creager, McCrank, Sheckler & Janoski will continue in heats to determine the final competitors.
