Air Jordan XII “Playoffs”

Posted on March 29, 2012 by Textbook

The Air Jordan XII is making a retro return this year, and the ‘Playoffs’ are up first.

Like all retro Jordan sneakers, this ‘Playoffs’ XII is without a doubt a must cop classic.

The Jordan XII’s was Michael Jordan’s sneaker of choice in 1997, which was the year MJ won his fifth ring and was awarded yet another finals MVP trophy. As the named suggests, Jordan laced up this particular XII during both the playoffs and the finals in 1997.

Despite a few minor hints of red on both the tongue and heal, this soon to drop retro is very similar to the OG XII.

While the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’ isn’t going to be as popular as say the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ that dropped in December last year, it’s still sure to be a very well received release among sneaker heads.

April 21 has been set as the release date for this Air Jordan, so you might want to set a reminder in your phone or mark it down in your diary.

Also, word has it that after the ‘Playoffs’ XII drop, the ‘Cool Grey’ XII should be next followed by the ‘Obsidian’ XII. So, if you’re a fan of the Air Jordan XII, this is set to be a good year for you.
