VIDEO: Lacey ‘In Circles’

Perth’s rising star, Lacey, offer up this new little gem and single off their much awaited second album, Verso.

The ‘best side’ four piece have been turning heads and cracking necks since their inception in 2007 with such 2009 hits as ‘Hard to Tell’ and ‘Whip’ garnering a whole lot of love from Triple J and audiences alike. Being part of the Triple J Unearthed program, the boys also peaked at number 2 and 4 on the indie charts as well as finding a place in the top 30 of the Unearthed charts – no mean feat for a fresh faced group on the scene.

The success hasn’t stopped there, especially following the release of their 2010 debut EP, Ropes. The single and first track off the album, ‘Distractions’, saw them again finding themselves a spot on Triple J.  Wanting to outdo themselves, their next single ‘Afraid Yet?’ reached similar success and exceeding all hopes by reaching the pinnacle of indie success (well mine, anyway) by entertaining those late night / early morning lovers of music by being nominated as Rage’s indie clip of the week.
