Vans x Spitfire – Lyon, France

Woo! Some epic goodness coming from the Vans and Spitfire teams straight from the land of baguettes, beret’s, frogs and red scarves.

Ok, maybe I went a little overboard with the stereotyping, but one thing (of many) that France has in mighty abundance is some beautiful landscape and hidden secrets. With skaters being the absolute resourceful bunch of bastards that they are, it’s no surprise that a core few of them managed to stumble across this little spot in Lyons. This core few of course were none other than those dudes over at Spitfire and Vans who turned this previously overgrown and dilapidated spot into one of rugged beauty with skating potential.

Although not looking like one of the most dynamic and diverse spots (something that people seem to hold a lot of stock in these days) it is none the less a bullshit little dig, owing more to the amount of work and achievement the guys put in to getting it up and running. Pretty fuckin’ jealous to say the least. What’s more, is that the actual filming and edit of the clip done by Vincent Jugnet is hands down flawless.
