VIDEO: Lookbook Akomplice Spring 2012 – Collection

Last week we brought to you the Spring 2012 accessories business for street label, Akomplice, today we bring you the whole collection equipped with video lookbook.

Regardless of my often mentioned love for Akomplice, it’s needless to say (and no doubt said countless times prior) that they are more than a mens street wear brand, but a collective of individuals who have come together under the one umbrella to bring their love of all things cultural in a style that sets them different to other labels. Without being restricted by any strict need to fit into a certain ‘street’ category, we’ve come to see some brilliantly structured collections, individual pieces, collaborations and out the box ideas that prove their influences and desire is more than about gettin’ loot and looking hot shit while doing it.

Although looking hot shit ain’t an issue.

Their latest offering of their Spring 2012 collection is one of maturity and structure full of super clean and no frills designs. With a heavy emphasis on the versatility of their product, their video lookbook proves the multitude of options their outerwear possesses with the customisability of their jackets, snaps, denim and hoodies. For those of you loving to creep ‘n’ freak, then there’s a nice range of camo floating around to complement the cut & sew and, as always, a dope range of printed tee’s to get down with. Accompanying the hefty accessories range is the first Akomplice Starter snap range, a guaranteed ball buster.

The video edit is tight as sin, magicked by Yudai Maruyama in the wonderful urban and rural surrounds of Japan, again showing the versatility of the Akomplice product. With a very fitting and suitable track by DJ Krush, this moving product is all smooth baby.
