Drake x The Weeknd x Star Slinger – ‘Crew Love’

I love Drake enough to tattoo his name on my forehead and even I HATE THIS.
As a Drake devotee I’ll concede that Crew Love isn’t the best track from the Take Care album. So whilst the basic idea of taking something and making it better makes sense, something was lost in the execution.
UK producer Star Slinger has essentially taken a slow song, sped it up and added some ‘breakbeats’. The result? A largely disjointed sound. Kind of like when you’re listening to something in iTunes and a YouTube video starts without you realising. Have a listen below and send me hate mail if you think I’m wrong:
