VIDEO: Pusha T ft. The Dream – ‘Exodus 23:1′

Posted on May 30, 2012 by BeEasy

The song that has been all over the net the past week and sparked controversy in the hip hop industry  is released in visual form for our delight.

If you don’t already know what this song is about, fellow contributor Textbook gave his rundown on ‘Exodus 23:1‘ last week.

Basically, Pusha T seems to have beef with the lads over at YMCMB, most notably Drake. Head honcho Lil Wayne fired back with the 90 second free-style track ‘Ghoulish’, which starts out with Tunechi rapping, “Fuck Pusha T and anybody that love him.”

This kinda came outta left field, but hey, as long as it just stays lyrical and doesn’t turn into a Biggie-Pac situation, I’m all for it. Let’s see who has the greatest flow and can destroy each other with their word play.

The ‘Exodus 23:1′ clip is directed by Samuel Rogers and doesn’t really turn up the heat in terms of the YMCMB beef, but rather shows where Pusha came from – the ghettos of Virginia, complete with masked goons, crack, and guns. Nice.

Is this beef going to last? What will Weezy and Drake come back with? I’m anxious to see. Check the vid below.
