VIDEO: Jay Z x Kanye West ‘No Church in the Wild’

Kanye West and Jay-Z’s ‘No Church in the Wild’ video has just been released… and it’s a riot.
Literally.

Following their ‘Otis‘ and ‘Niggas in Paris‘ clips, this new video came from the director of M.I.A’s ‘Bad Girls’, Romain Gavras. The video was filmed in Prague last month, for the single from their Watch The Throne collaboration.

I’m not sure what to make of the video. It’s no lie that I’m KanYe West’s biggest fan, second only to that dirty Kardashian – but I’m not really feeling this.

We are faced with two men, seemingly endless money and lots of talented collaborators, yet I felt like I was watching a segment on the news. I’m aware that is probably what they were going for, and I can appreciate it cinematically but it just seems a little predictable. Surely there’s artists who aren’t in the 1% who can educate us, and I expect everyone else to entertain me.
