HAN S - S 13 lookbook-7

WE’RE ABOUT TO GO HAN Spring/Summer 2013 Lookbook

The first collection by HAN ‘basics in hue’ is a fine selection of the “less is more” ethos.

Everybody loves a good white tee. It is the backbone of any good wardrobe, outfit or look. HAN’s garments encapsulate the importance of these staples. The parka. The pant. The tee. The shirt.

The S|S ’13 offering is inspired by Japanese aesthetics of design. However, there’s nothing Japanese about the physique of the model, proving simplicity and attention to detail also works for a mans man.

The collection is a reflection of what young Brisbane designer Khim Hang values in terms of design, construction and philosophy. The HAN garments explore the core purpose of such staples – comfort, functionality and state of mind.

Excuse me if I’m sounding philosophical, but anyone else who embarks on the white tee journey as much as I do will understand. Hang’s sincere ethics start within him, are born through his designs, are ingrained in quality fabrics and are sustained through garment assembly – every word on his website, every stitch in his garment and every image on their blog are soaked in such authenticity, that heighten your appreciation for each piece.

“something that has organically grown and is continuously nurtured” – Hang

Set to hit stores in August, keep your eyes peeled and immerse yourself in HAN.
