Air Jordan 2012 Lite “USA” – (Definitely not A OK)

It has been a bad day for Michael Jordan. Not only did his Bobcats miss the number 1 spot for the 2012 draft, which completely knocks him out of the running of getting Wildcats superstar-in-the-making Anthony Davis, but his brand has decided to release this;

The Air Jordan 2012 Lite “USA”.

What the hell?

These have to be some of the most ugliest shoes I have seen in a long… LONG time. They remind me of something that came out of the early 90’s AND1’s, but much more plasticie (I know it’s not a word, but you get what I mean). The red, white, and blue team USA patriotic colourway is set to likely launch around the same time the 2012 Summer Olympics are on. Chances are, you won’t really get to see these on anyone’s feet, as like I said, these are incredibly ugly.

To be fair, these shoes may perform well though. Jordan Brands recent offerings have had some rave reviews, especially the Melo and Wade signatures. I am guessing these will be awesome on the court, but the main issue I have with these, is as to why they made these super shiny. They look like they have been glazed, or covered in shrink wrap.

Regardless, if these shoes don’t grab your attention enough to buy them off the bat, I don’t see these doing very well. At least it’s Thursday, MJ. Three days till the week is over.
