Video: Kanye West x G.O.O.D. ‘Mercy’

Lamborghini Mercy – your chick she so thirsty! It’s a great week to be a Yeezy fan. Just seven days after releasing the video for ‘Church In The Wild’ featuring Jay-Z, Ye brings us the visual for the amazing ‘Mercy’ joint…and oh yeah, there’s some shoe that’s being released on Saturday that’s got something to do with him…but enough about that.
Kanye and his G.O.O.D. Music record label dropped the ‘Mercy’ clip today, the newest single off upcoming collaborative album ‘Cruel Summer’.
When I first heard this song back in April, I instantly had it on replay. The beat had my head bumping back and forth and memorising lyrics such as, “Roll my weed up on it, that’s an ASS-tray.” Just incredible.
The song and video feature several rappers from West’s label — including Yeezy, Big Sean, Pusha-T and 2 Chainz (2 CHAINZ!)
In addition to those big names, the nearly six-minute video features cameo appearances from fellow G.O.O.D music artists Kid Cudi, CyHi the Prynce and Teyana Taylor.
The black-and-white video, directed by Nabil Elderkin, features the cast of artists together in a mostly empty parking garage, except for a Lamborghini visible in the background.
I loved the feel of the whole video, and I’m so happy that the artists actually showed up for the clip, rather than go missing such as was the case for ‘Church In The Wild’.
