Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2012 Capsule Collection Lookbook
Posted on June 12, 2012 by Rex
Opening Ceremony and adidas Originals have collaborated on a FW 12 capsule collection to celebrate the London Olympics and Opening Ceremony’s first store in the UK.
adidas Originals aren’t shy to a collaboration, Opening Ceremony have established themselves as the ‘cool kids‘ and I don’t need to remind you how popular street style is becoming – so this collaboration is a bit of a no brainer.
The fash pack have fully embraced kicks, fitted caps (sometimes snapbacks or 5 panels) and all the goodness street wear has offered for its entire existence. The collection has taken inspiration from bandanas, the 90s and use of florals.
Whilst the looks are refined, prints are interesting and the styling is pretty bad-ass; I just can’t help but feel like it’s missing something.
Perhaps I’ve come to expect super-human things from OC, or I’m jaded from all the sports inspired look-books we’re received, or bored with floral/wedge sneakers invading the market.
Take a look for yourself..
