Video: PRIMO! magazine x Kate Miller-Heidke

PRIMO! magazine, our friends at Sony Music and songstress Kate Miller-Heidke hopped over to explore the Manly Quarantine Station Ghost Tour and filmed what went down.

A few weeks ago PRIMO! magazine were given some time to hang out with Kate Miller-Heidke, so naturally, we took her on a Ghost Tour and got her to perform her song ‘The Devil Wears a Suit’ from her latest album Nightflight, for the ghosts in the shower block.

We here at PRIMO! magazine love doing things a little differently, and figured like minded Kate would be up for anything other than the norm. Although we did the norm interview, too.

For those out there that have never heard of the Manly Quarantine Station, the Quarantine Station is reputed to be one of the most haunted sites in Australia. With it’s eerie history of deaths, we all walked through different areas of the quarantine, while a tour guide told us stories about what it was like to be in that time, and what settlers experienced while staying at the quarantine.

Everybody loves a good ghost story, so when the tour guide threw down some pretty epic stories about what they thought were medical procedures to cure and help people, leading to pain and deaths, we all were curious to simply just image being there with them. Heavy times indeed. Our boys Zilla, ChuckTaylor and myself were all over it, with Kate dropping studio quality tracks in a shower block – we were blown away be the professionalism.
