“I just really love spending time with my boy.”
Thank God graphic artist Luca Ionsecu gave me a segway into talking about how freakin’ cute his son is without sounding like a weirdo.
When adidas Originals brain stormed the idea of ‘making moves’ – I’m sure they envisioned the likes of Luca’s son, break dancing a la his performance at the film screening party in May.
Apart from having exceptional genetics and a stunning partner, Luca Ionescu is also the recipient of a New York Type Directors Club award and the founder of Like Minded Studio, a Sydney based design studio with a range of international clientele.
My experience in typography starts and ends with Helvetica, so needless to say I’m impressed. Luca is renowned for his logo and typography work which has been documented in numerous publications & large concentrations of type work can be found online via design & typography blogs. likemindedstudio.com
The last film in the all Originals Make Moves series, each creative has allowed us to take a peek into their careers and the moves the are making. Not only has the campaign reunited us with the adistar Racer (inspired by the classic ’84 running shoe) but it has resonated with us Sydneysiders, and heightened our awareness to the likes of these four influential Australians.
Recap: DJ Beni Single, paper engineer Benja Harney, award winning chef Mitch Orr and typographer and graphic artist Luca Ionsecu.
