The Blink/Steady Bike Light

Posted on June 19, 2012 by L&G

When it comes to lights for your bike, it can be a hard choice. For one thing, there are only a certain amount to choose from before the cheaper versions come into play that last till the next sun shower. Shit, I also forgot to mention that they are ugly as fuck.

Here, we have a simple, yet really visually appealing light that will not only look good on your bike, but work super well for safety. The Blink/Steady Bike Light is a machined, solid aluminium bike light that turn on automatically and shits off when you’re not riding. Hear that? That means you don’t ever have to think about turning on, or turning off the light. What makes it even more appealing is the fact that you can lock up your bike, without having to think about removing it, as it is screwed to your seatpost.

Epic.

How it works, is by using an accelerometer that knows when you’re moving, and a light sensor that knows when it’s dark enough to turn on. After you lock up your bike, it turns off after 30 seconds. No buttons means you will never have to think about your bike light again.

The Blink/Steady bike light is entirely produced in the good ol’ US of A from high quality materials, and fuses the design and functionality that a light is supposed to have.
