Born and bred in Harlem, New York, ASAP Rocky has never been more than an arms width away from the cliché rap lifestyle.

Brought to fruition by the likes of Big L & Kool Moe Dee to Ma$e, and Cam’ron, Rocky’s defensive yet harmonious rap style has drawn more immediate comparisons to recently incarcerated and fellow Harlemite, Max B.

Rockys ability to avoid hipster clichés and the recent overuse of the “Swag” way of life is slowly bringing more artistic credibility back to modern day Hip Hop.

A$VP C4 is a teaser for a new documentary on A$AP Rocky which airs on channel4 in the UK in August and worldwide on AnimalNewYork.com.
