Sunday Sessions: BOSSTONE

When I think about the word boss, I think someone that blends strength and control skillfully into what they do. BOSSTONE is no exception.

This gentleman is a Melbourne-grown beat producer/Dj who is beginning to make waves on the international circuit, recently headlining the very first AO-AO blog event night at the Social club in Paris.

The first time I came across BOSSTONE would have been his remix of Destiny’s Childs – Say my Name. Needless to say it was included in one of my mixes straight away and definitely got me some hi-fives at parties. His diverse musical style spills over from his eclectic influences, ranging from Pharrell to Night slugs.

What stands out most is his love for Hip hop, RnB and soul shines through in the beats he creates and special touches he puts on ‘re-fixes’ of other artists.
