Want to get your hands on some rare size 15 sneakers? Well, former NFL player, Warren Sapp, is selling off his entire collection.
The reason for behind auctioning off his vast collection of kicks, however, is unfortunate.
Earlier this year, Sapp filed a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy after going into millions of dollars worth of debt with a hefty amount owed in child support payments. To help manage the issue, Sapp has decided to auction off his rare collection of Air Jordans with all processed going to creditors.
Sapp, who is 39-years-old, was sponsored by Nike during his NFL career, so you just know his collection is full of heat.
The collection includes roughly 240 pairs of sneakers and is approximately worth around $6,500 in total. Some of the sneakers in Sapp’s collection up for sale have been on ice since he got them and are yet to been worn.
During his NFL career, Sapp was regarded as one of the top players at his position of defensive tackle while playing for both the Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers between 1995 and 2007. Sapp even won a Super Bowl in 2003 as a member of the Buccaneers.
