Soundwave 2013 First Announcement

Soundwave has absolutely been killing it over the past few years. The festival has grown exponentially since 2007, and it peaked this year with the inclusion giant nu-metal headliner Limp Bizkit.

Next year’s first announcement looks to surpass 2012′s installment. After confirmation that Blink 182 will be joined by Travis Barker himself, the Soundwave crew have unleashed several other heavyweights – headliners Metallica, Linkin Park and A Perfect Circle to name a few.

The reign of retro pop-punk also continues with the inclusion of The Offspring and Sum 41. Older New York Hardcore enthusiasts will want to whip out the basketball jerseys for Vision of Disorder and Madball. I have a massive crush on Shirley Manson so I’ll probably head along to see Garbage.
