The Levi’s Commuter series promised functionality, with smooth aesthetics. It sounded too good to be true, so we put it to the test.

The Levi’s Commuter series is described as a multi-functional performance product designed for cyclists all over the world.

We were concerned the product looked too much like the Levi’s we know and love to embody the functionality, so we threw one of our videographers on his BMX and got him to talk us through the experience.

In the Levi’s 511 slim trouser with a Levi’s water resistant wind breaker and there was a lot for him to like. The trousers are reworked with features like 3M reflective lining on the cuff, a belt loop that houses a U-lock, pocket for your mobile phone and reinforcement in the crotch area (!!!)
